miltonwv you owe NO ONE an apology!! You've put up with all of us, but with this sports section more than any one person should have to deal with. YOU GAVE US A PLACE, YOU GIVE YOUR TIME, and then you have a group that are promoting THEIR BOARDS! If they would rather have a site in KY, then close up the sports section Put a section we need for this City Election coming up, a World NEWS section. You have bent over backwards to keep the chit stirring ppl off the sports, you've had to kick ppl off, you've done everything in your power to help with the sports, and it does NOT seem to be appreciated. You were more than kind in your post, and for the rest of us that have so appreciated what you have given us, it pisses us off for you to be treated in anyway that disrespects you or this board We know you can take care of yourself lol, but we are here for you as much as you are here for us!

Coach Stapleton must not have been able to get to his place of employment (one of the biggest law firms around) due to the weather, because he sure has been on here a lot today. I take it he isn't a lawyer with the firm, because a lawyer with "one of the biggest law firms around" wouldn't waste their time on a piddly message board answering the likes of George Bush. Maybe Coach is a janitor and goes in to work at "one of the biggest law firms around" after hours. If so, be careful Coach. The roads are a sheet of ice and I'm guessing you work for Steptoe and Johnson, Jackson and Kelly, Bell and Bands, or DiTrapano, Barrett, and DiPiero, and it will be treacherous going into Charleston tonight!

I've had bigger AEP service issues than LL sports, so I'm sorry not to weigh in on this topic and come to miltonwv's defense. Coach Stapleton gave a knee jerk reaction to a comment rather than choosing to respectfully disagree. Most of the participants in the sports section who have remained have not caused any problems that I am aware of. There has been some spirited debate and I think both sides should be allowed to voice their opinions on this message board.

It appears that the other websites offer something different from www.miltonwv.org. The other sites do not have a message board, which has served as a vehicle for getting info out about meetings, scores, etc. None of the others would want to put up with the headaches miltonwv has had to endure monitoring the sports section in it's infancy. There are those who seem to appreciate the sports topics, so allow them to continue unless they get out of hand and disregard TOS.

I know that many of the sports parents live outside the city limits, but I would like to see a few take some interest in other topics. I've tried to discuss kid-friendly activities, children's books, etc. with little to no response. I'd like to see some of the parents become more active in "their community", whether they live here or not. There have to be other things that interest children...Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, 4-H, AWANA.
